Created for the children of music enthusiasts; these cotton t-shirts and onesies, conceived by IRIS with an original design by well-known illustrator and animator S. Britt (Yo Gabba Gabba, Nick Jr. Disney, Leapfrog, Martha Stewart Kids, New York Times, TV Land, and more) can be purchased alone, or with the digital albums Kimya Dawson’s Alphabutt (K Records) and/or Kids Songs: Sing and Learn Activities  (Planet Music). The shirts are available in sizes newborn through Youth for $14.99; $22.99 for shirt + 1 album and $28.99 for shirt + both albums. Half of the profits from these sales will go to support the organization A2IM and their work on behalf of independent record labels and the artists they represent.

I was inspired to create the shirts when explaining what we do at IRIS to my three-year-old daughter. When I told her that we help sell more music, she quickly replied that “everyone should just share their music.” Understanding her meaning and the importance of sharing music in the appropriate context, I thought these shirts were a fun way to satirically illustrate the distinction.
